I had a ton of fun running around Kalamazoo with these two for their engagement session. When August arrived we got started with Callie getting ready at their beautiful house in the Vine Neighborhood, while Alec got ready at the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts. One of the best things about being a Michigan photographer is the incredible amount of lakeshore we have and the diversity that comes with it. When coming up with engagement session location ideas, the Lake Michigan shoreline is usually listed multiple times throughout my suggestions. We have wide open sandy beaches, dunes, forested dunes, beach grass meadows, lighthouses, boardwalks, and peninsulas. And that’s just on the west coast!
